An independent, longitudinal qualitative research project, active since 2012, documenting religious and spiritual practices through recorded interviews and observational fieldwork. The project takes a phenomenological, non-doctrinal approach — examining how individuals construct meaning, ethics, and self-understanding through spiritual experience, without endorsing or promoting any specific belief system.

With nearly 1,000 hours of recorded material, the project has informed Jefferson's academic interest in subjective experience, narrative identity, and phenomenological approaches to mental health.
